Art Show.

This is a detail of the painting that will be in the St. John's student art show next weekend. It's entitled "Mother in Jerusalem" at Ted's request. It's been a while since I last posted. I've been really busy with internship applications and what have you, but hopefully I'll be back more now.

Illustration Friday: The 80s

This is me and Yogi Bear's sidekick-- Boo Boo Bear if I recall correctly-- circa 1989. We were at Jellostone Park Campground on what was probably the last camping trip my family ever took together. Which was a good choice. My family is bad at camping. We get sick and we complain a lot. I almost crawled off a cliff with chicken pox at my first one of these.

This is my dad trying to kill bees on another 1980s camping extravaganza.

And for good measure, this is a photo from the mid eightys. I'm with my mom on the right. The other two women are my mom's friends visiting from Illinois. This is when we still lived in California. My sister is on the left, and I think that's Michael in the middle with his mom Paula. I adore this photograph.
