Back from Europe

With lots of drawings. I am too lazy to set up my breaking scanner, so I have photographed a couple of the drawings instead. Which never looks as good, but such is life.
I became obsessed with tv antennas as soon as we arrived in Nice, they are so lovely atop those old buildings. There is something so aesthetically pleasing about them. I can't really pinpoint it but I think it has to do with the 20s. Which is weird because I don't think tv antennas existed then. I did this drawing from the window of our hostel in Firenze (the e got cut off in the photograph.)

This drawing is of one of the coolest old ladies I've ever seen. Its too bad I only saw her from the front for a few seconds. She was walking along the coast in the Cinque Terre.

Here's Aaron reading in Rome.
And steve and carols kitchen in Cetona. I actually did a print of this one at my internship:
This is a solar plate etching. Which is probably one of my favorite techniques. I have a bunch more prints that I will try to post over the next few days. My internship has been stressful but extremely rewarding. I've learned an amazing amount of information of the last few days. But I am happy to finally have a few days off.
