Volume 4, Issue 2 of the Postal Constituent: the GMIWCC considers the TEXT.
Volume 4 Issue 2 of the Great Moments in Western Civilization Postal Constituent is here! For this issue the Cooperative considers The TEXT and the anxiety it induces. With a healthy mix of autobio and history this comic is a return to a style similiar to some older autobiographical issues like Relics and Phosphenes. I had a lot of fun making it, so I'm thinking I might make some more in this style. Maybe I'll even make a book of them. But then, I always want to make every project I do into a magnum opus. Only time will tell.
The Text is an eight page zine folded from an 11 x 17 in sheet of paper and printed in Blue. Check out this preview below. Click to Enlarge.
And Here's a larger version of the first two pages because I realized it was too small to see in the original preview.
Lots of excitement on the horizon. Just got my anthology proofs and will be making the official preview/ announcement post as soon as I get this new issue out in the mail. The Toronto Comics Arts Festival is also NEXT weekend! I will be there with my new book in hand!
